It seems that all chrome based browsers need to follow the same design language (vivaldi being an exception). Tab sync between devices is not a thing, they just sync what URLs were opened recently not what tabs you had opened in another device. Have too many and half your bar is filled with groups, no syncing between devices, and they kinda go away if you close the window. Privacy related they proved that they will when they can get their hands on anything, affiliated links issue, with the excuse of "we missed that code". Many updates on Brave are for bat/crypto changes while you do not use them, but they are still need to be installed on your end for Brave to be updated. If it was an option to not be installed on the first place then you could have removed them.
